How do we pay the cost to make the vodcast?
The funding for the ASL Vodcast is the responsibility of our Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast Team. We request voluntary 7th tradition contributions from the fellowship. We do NOT accept any funds from any nonAA resources. AA Access Committees, Districts and groups can provide Deaf Alcoholic Vodcast scholarships.
The funds are used to hire professional interpreters to copy sign each story. After the story has been copy signed, we send it to a Deaf production company that makes the Deafblind plain english visual descriptive transcript. The total average cost per video is $165. If possible, please consider supporting our efforts with a 7th Tradition contribution.
